为了做这个实验,我找出了一篇我在2014年12月写的文章,参见《[342]Whatever you deliver speaks for you》。

At the inception of this year, driven by a thrust of inspiration along with tentative determination, I started to write articles. I was not sure how far I could go. The only certain thing was that I could manage the writing within the expected short ranges of date ahead of me, due to the writing topics that I was quite familiar with, namely English learning, interpretation and so on.

修改:At the beginning of this year, fueled byinspiration and a tentative determination, I embarked on the journey of writing
articles. I wasn’t certain how far I could go, but one thing was clear: I couldhandle writing within the short-term deadlines ahead of me, considering my
familiarity with topics such as English learning and interpretation.

2、driven by a thrust of 改成了fueled by,这个表达我之前用的少,挺好
3、embark on the journey,
4、but one thing was clear,
6、short-term deadlines

It was just like a Penelope’s web when you woke up in the early morning realizing you have to write at least one passage a day. To alleviate the daunting apprehension at times, at the outset, my strategy was to jot down whatever came to my mind in the process of writing. Indeed this was mind-easing, and it helped me survive early stages of writing.

修改:It felt like Penelope’s web, waking up
early in the morning knowing I had to write at least one passage a day. To
alleviate the occasional overwhelming apprehension, my initial strategy was to
jot down whatever thoughts came to mind during the writing process. This served
as a mind-easing technique
and helped me navigate the early stages of writing.

解析:
1、用it felt like的确要更好
3、served as a …

At the beginning of this year, fueled by
inspiration and a tentative determination, I embarked on the journey of writing
articles. I wasn’t certain how far I could go, but one thing was clear: I could
handle writing within the short-term deadlines ahead of me, considering my
familiarity with topics such as English learning and interpretation.

It felt like Penelope’s web, waking up
early in the morning knowing I had to write at least one passage a day. To
alleviate the occasional overwhelming apprehension, my initial strategy was to
jot down whatever thoughts came to mind during the writing process. This served
as a mind-easing technique and helped me navigate the early stages of writing.

However, deep down, I recognized that
merely satisfying my own needs wouldn’t be enough to captivate and engage the
public. There would always be a trade-off between the topics I wanted to write
about and the quality required for an article to become widely read and shared.

Throughout this journey, I have worked
diligently to strike a balance and achieve coordination. The need for such
balance has grown as the number of subscribers to my WeChat Official Account
has reached a record high of over 10,000.

Recently, during a conversation with a
friend in Beijing, he emphasized the importance of organizing and preparing
every article on my public account. This includes paying attention to even the
smallest details, such as layout, diction, and the selection of related photos.
Each piece of information should hold value for the reader since they have
taken the time to open my passage and therefore deserve a rewarding experience.

This conversation provided me with great
inspiration. I recalled the advice my supervisor gave me when I graduated from
school and entered the workforce. He emphasized that everything you deliver
speaks for you. In your team, the results you produce and present to others
represent you. Your credibility is built on the quality of your work. Failing
to meet others’ expectations often leads to a bleak career prospect.

The principle is simple, yet fully
understanding and implementing it is far from easy. Our laziness and inertia
often hold us back from taking the initiative and achieving excellence. We
frequently settle for mediocrity with excuses like “this is good
enough” or “I am tired and need a break.”

However, in the realm of team
collaboration, success can only be achieved when all members give their all. An
individual’s reputation also relies on consistently delivering high-quality
work in the long term.

Therefore, it is crucial to ensure that
every detail counts.
